PA Group has just completed work on the roof of Safestore inBristol. PA Group was employed by the client to remove the already identified Asbestos roofing, replace it with a new steel roof and dispose of the asbestos waste.

 Risk assessments of the site were carried out thoroughly before it could be deemed safe for works to commence. Once completed and costs were agreed the project was completed over a 15 day period in which time the panels were detached from the roof and replaced. The asbestos waste was then cleared each day so that no contamination could take place.

 A completion file is being completed for the site at present to confirm that all asbestos on the roof has been removed and disposed of safely.
